I had a lot of fun with this one! For once I decided to stick Maurytaur into the MODERN WORLD instead of Hetherev. This probably won't be the last you see of this kind of thing. But onto the true purpose of the picture-- BACKGROUND PRACTICE. I want to practice clutter and I knew I could lure myself into practicing if I got to draw a horsiebutt guy at the end.
So here it is! I learned some stuff and I see some mistakes, but I'm counting this one as a win!

This looks great, clutter and everything! :) I think it's quite a skill, drawing interiors convincingly, a lot of people draw rooms that look like those model rooms in Ikea or something. I dunno, maybe someone actually lives like that but most rooms I've been in are way more cluttery. So good job! :D
Is modern world with Maurytaur just an exercise of sorts or have you thought it through world-building-wise? I'm just curious how he co-exists with humans.
