Just your average raccoon. Nothing to see here, literally. :) I am more of an art appreciator than a creator.

Well, I decided to finally check this place out with FA being down. Saw some stuff I had never seen before on the other site, so I thought hey, self, let's sign up! Now I am here. :)

I have been a fur for a long time, since I was 14, which was over 15 years ago. I'm lurked, mostly, enjoying the classices like Redwall, Blood Jaguar, though I also enjoyed the obligatory Disney cartoons (or so it seems that they are obligatory) and Swat Kats when younger. So, aside from that brief intro, how about something introspective?

As a raccoon, I have to say that Guardians of the Galaxy is probably my favorite movie ever. The whole film was literally a dream come true. That being said, I will be glad when people stop posting GotG fan art. While I love Rocket and Groot, I won't miss having to skim past dozens and dozens of the same image, more or less. I'm not knocking anybody who has (or will) darwn the fan art, but it will be good to get back to original raccoon characters that people come up with. :) To be fair, I feel this way about any fan art, really, especially the really popular stuff.

The exception to this, and you can call me a hypocrit (hypocoon?), are novels and similar text-based mediums that do not have any images already established. I love looking at Redwall fanart in particular because each one is so unique. I also love when people take human TV shows and reimagine the characters as anthros, which also adds a unique touch. But when people create any type of fan art and uses it to portray intimate scenes with the artist's own character, those have always kind of creeped me out.

Anyway, it's almost 3am, I am rambling, so I shall sign off for now!
