Thanks! I just wish I could get the gel pens to actually go down smooth instead of that weird streaky look x.x

Yeah, gel pens are nice……but always act weird on top of colored mediums (markers and colored pencil). Not sure if this would work any better…….but maybe actual white ink and a brush? I guess that would be nearly like “paint”, so it might streak less.

I watch people on youtube use them and they go down nice and solid on both pencil and marker and I'm over here like how? why? what am I doing wrong? is it the paper?

It might be. It might be the gel pens, too. Some brands are better than others and even pens of the same brand can have faults. Trying to have a lighter hand may help, as well—some people press down hard and it may put extra pressure on the ballpoint, so the ink doesn’t flow as freely.
It’s hard to say, but there are other alternatives out there to experiment with, too! :)
