Day Eight of the Adventurer journal: Cosmic Harpy

Also known as the Azure Fluff Harpy to travelers.

One of the few monsters that can leave the Earth, and survive the cold vacuum of space. Cosmic Harpies spend 98 percent of their time sky bound, and tend to leave the atmosphere in their flights. They are considered to be one of the fastest monsters alive, as they tend to participate in the eon races against their rival, the Pearlier Naga.

As they are always flying, not much is known is about their diet or their life span. However, their feathers are known for their sleeping properties. It appears that Cosmic Harpies flying close to towns will shed a few of their feathers over the town, which seems to result in pleasant dreams. Though in some cases, the harpy appears in the dream and interacts with the dreamer.

An experiment was once done with a pillow full of cosmic feathers, as the goal was to see if the subject would fell asleep quickly. The subject did fall asleep after his touched the pillow, but he would not awaken; To this day the subject is still asleep.
