The 1967 Ford GT40 Mark III. Only seven of these were built, only four are left hand drive. Only reason why the GT40 was ever built was due to Ford Motor Company tried to buy Ferrari who wanted to sell their racing team, but turned them down, hoping that Fiat would buy them. Ford got pissed, and decided to strike back at Ferrari at their race, the Le Mans. They later took Le Mans and placed 1st 2nd and 3rd.

In order to compete in Le Mans back then, they had to make a touring car that was street legal as well. Therefore Ford made a limited number of these cars street legal in the US. Reasoning behind the name GT40 was that the car is only 40" high off the ground. It is powered by a 289-cubic-inch 306 horsepower V8 that will accelerate it from 0-60 in 5.3 seconds.
