I'm sure some of you out there remember this guy.
This is a recreation of the 2008 image that Fur-Affinity-Armorine graced FA with at the time. Since it is gone, and since Armorine is no longer a part of this community, I thought I might revisit his work by recreating some of my favorite images by him.
[b]This was in no way traced. I simply referenced the original image to create it again in my own style using my own methods.[/b]
I am extremely happy with this piece. I had attempted to do this in 2008 as tribute and practice, but I failed rather horribly. Look how far I have come since! I still have my work posted from 2007 on this gallery too. It is night and day!
I hope that I have put a new spin on this image by doing this. I added much more drool, removed the hands that appeared in the original (maybe because they always distracted me), and gave much more detail to the throat and mouth in general. I hope that you fans enjoy this!
I may do more of Jerin in the future. I have thought of redrawing more by Armorine, but at different angles or creating my own original images of Jerin as soon as I can figure out what all of him looked like XD

I got more coming (because I love this character) which are completely original images. This redux was fun and all, but I wanna add more to the Jerin library ;P

Very nice! You can tell the inspiration with ease, but it's still noticeably your own.
I like the texture-through-lighting, from the slick little glisten in the back of the throat to the duller sheen of the horns. The texture of Jerin being more about lineart than lighting suits your spectacular lines well, and looks very reminiscent of Armorine's work.
