I said i would try to get something uploaded during my learning period, been focussing mainly on a rougher and quicker way to paint, and on light as the two fields i want to improve in. And well, while doing some research and taking apart a few paintings from other people i stumbled upon something that looked like it was painted on top of a photo. Or it at least looked like it to me, not sure if it actually was done that way. So i tried it out and it turned out to be a fantastic way to do more rugged up scaly creatures in a fairly realistic manner.
This painting was done in about 60~90 minutes, which is like a rocket compared to a ferrari in comparison to how long it usually takes me to finish stuff , so, yeah , it's possible to get something out of it very quickly.
That's about it for now i think, have a nice day everyone!
