Void,

of emotions,

of feelings,

of compassion,

of guild.

Void,

of a soul.

For as long as I know,

I've needed to fill,

the part that is gone,

that left me incomplete,

and created this void.

Filling it with attention,

left me unwanted.

Filling it with love,

left me broken.

Filling it with knowledge,

became my addiction,

but the void remained.

But now I'm believing,

this void is a bless,

to have a clean slate,

unprejudiced of mind,

not clouded by emotions.

So now I walk trough life,

my head held up high,

looking at the poor ones,

who can't think clear,

for now I really know,

Ignorance is a bliss.
