‘I guess some would call it clinging to childhood glories. Maybe there’s some truth in that. But for me it’s like, when you’re part of something that big, that young… as you grow up, it comes to seem more real than your actual childhood. What I do now with the foundation, taking kids up who’d otherwise never get to see the world from above… I want to give them something real, not just on a screen. And it makes me feel a little more real too.’
