Thank you! I was worried that the reds and oranges would get choked out by the scanner, but it behaved pretty well this time. As for the masks they were mostly added for detail, as well as to sorta represent an angry crowd, I guess? Since he's supposed to be causing an uprising and all. c:

I don't have anything to compare it to, but to me the hues look pretty damn good! I was getting that impression with the masks too; the angular and random abstract shapes remind me of the chaotic and loud murmur of a large crowd.

Thanks again! Problem is, my scanner sometimes decides it's okay to portray some colors as brighter and more saturated than others, and I am too untrained to fix color balance in Photoshop. I guess it worked out this time because oranges and reds are all very rich colors.

ooo~ I like how hes all silhouetted in black, such muscles @ U @c you drew his bod well, I especially like how you did his collar bone and his angru face >:3 very intense against the reds and oranges with the dynamic shapes! awesome <3

Thanks! I'm slowly trying to get better at anatomy, so I'm happy to hear it's paying off. Also practising some facial expressions, might even do some facial expression sheets sometime in the future once this project is done or something!

The heavy use of reds and oranges really help to reinforce the tense, angry feel of this piece. I think my favorite detail in this one are the faces (masks maybe?) interspersed throughout the composition.
