Shortly after peace was made between its neighbors, Eisneria's military went through major reforms, becoming a fully-mechanized National Guard with a primary defensive purpose, and a limited UN peacekeeping role. They quickly changed their weapons, formerly supplied by the war profiteer Gustav Havoc, for NATO-standard gear, with the United Kingdom as its main importer of small arms, armored vehicles, & aircraft. It also selected the Cypriot National Guard camouflage for its uniforms, to suit the mountainous environment. Since 9/11, it formed dedicated counter-terrorist brigade to protect its people from acts of terrorism.

The British-made FV432 armored personnel carrier is the National Guard's compliment to the Challenger 1 main battle tank, although its three battalions outnumber the tank 3 to 1. Besides the troop carrier, the National Guard operates other versions of the FV430, including ambulance, command center, and armored recovery vehicle.
