Shortly after peace was made between its neighbors, Eisneria's military went through major reforms, becoming a fully-mechanized National Guard with a primary defensive purpose, and a limited UN peacekeeping role. They quickly changed their weapons, formerly supplied by the war profiteer Gustav Havoc, for NATO-standard gear, with the United Kingdom as its main importer of small arms, armored vehicles, & aircraft. It also selected the Cypriot National Guard camouflage for its uniforms, to suit the mountainous environment. Since 9/11, it formed dedicated counter-terrorist brigade to protect its people from acts of terrorism.

The Mastiff Protected Patrol Vehicle (PPV) is the National Guard's primary armored workhorse, used mainly for rapid troop deployment, convoy escort & patrols, base security, and explosive ordnance disposal.
