This is the wood carving Sixen made for the elf who taught her how to make magic items. It is also the first magic item Sixen ever enchanted and the focus of "Freely-Given Gifts". In case you can't tell, Sixen really likes dragons...and somewhat cubist depictions of them, given she's never seen one personally.

This is literally the first thing I've drawn on my own (other than some really janky character sketches earlier this year) since middle-school. And I did it with personalized pencils over two decades old that I recently refound. So...it's a bit of a strange nostalgic flashback to when I was bored out of my gourd in middle-school by too easy classes and sketching fantasy swords and characters and runes in the margins of my notebooks. I am simultaneously proud of this and ashamed of this, given how crude it is. Why upload it or put it in the story, you may ask? Well...to be honest? A crude depiction of a simple carving by a bundle of chaos like Sixen? It feels appropriate.

I'm not going to upload many drawings if any more at all. If I keep at it, I'm going to have to learn a lot more and get my hand used to it. I guess this is also my way of saying "I'll be trying". But I'll always be a writer, first and foremost; that'll never change.
