Enjoying the scenery

Marwan

I started working on this picture waaayyy back in December 2012. It started out as this sketch: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v320/zanoma/marwan_scenery_sketch.jpg and then I immediately vectored it in Flash. I had the foreground done by the end of 2012.

Cut to February 2014 -- or more precisely, today -- and only then I started drawing the background. x_x;; Damn, I forgot to finish this pic as soon as possible! >_O

I drew this pic for two things: 1, how I use my tail to latch myself onto a tree branch to get the best view possible. XD And 2, as a practice on drawing more backgrounds.

The background is Mount Kinabalu, the tallest mountain in Malaysia, and the third tallest in Southeast Asia. Basically, this is based from my experience when my parents and I went to Kinabalu, Sabah, back in 2010. I get to witness Mount Kinabalu there. It was breathtaking! O_O I tried to visualize how I felt there when drawing this pic.

I like it! Simplistic, but a really cool layout, a rather classic one. Bonus for awesomely-long, extra-fluffy-tipped tail! :D

Thanks! =) Yeah, I'm proud of my very long tail. XD It's so useful in many ways.

Indeed! Who wouldn't love having a third dexterous limb? Bonus points for the fluff, too! :D
