Finished animation for my fan version of this animation bit from Electric Angel (animated by 二色鯉) ,

This was nice for a beginners animation, I learned a good lot doing this. Previously I have done super simple and small animations. This was bigger and a ‘draw every frame out’ animation instead of a ‘draw once and move a few things around’ type of animation (if that makes sense?).

I traced out the basic shapes so to get the animation as close to the original as I could (since it is a fan version). Then drew in all the details- ears, tails, hair, clothing etc. It was kinda hard trying to keep everything in the right position or right size. Also, big lesson learned- DON’T have pen pressure on while doing the outlines! That’s ok though~ I didn’t shade this cause no.

I don’t know how many other animations I will do. This was 8 frames and it had me mentally belly aching like a baby. But I want to try and do something more original and from scratch now that I have a better grip on things.

I don’t own the animation, the style, or the idea. This is a fan made version using my characters. Base used for skeletal, image used for style reference.
