hey! this meme was going around tumblr and i thought it was really cute! i know it's a poor photo, but i'm really proud of how far my traditional ink is coming. especially these new chisel pens (supposed to be for calligraphy, but, EH).
it's-a me as a witch! i prefer the classic broom and lantern, and like to cast spells with my hands and tinctures rather than through a wand or staff. i have leather pants and a cool tunic that's super comfy and a snazzy wool hat! keeps the rain off. also boots. i wish i had these boots in reality... :0

I love calligraphy pens, no-one's stopping you from using them for inking. They can make for really nice varying lineweight.
For example it helps if you turn it from thin to thick and back along the lines that indicate the underside of a piece of cloth.
I love this character, she looks so cute. Maybe a little short on the torso and legs, but her face is wonderful, I should do so well.-

and as for the critique, thank you as well! i do have shorter legs, but my torso is longer than i think i portrayed here. faces are still a great challenge to me.
