Alexis is another one of those characters I have a lot of backstory for despite not drawing all that often. A tomboyish bully known for being rude, getting into fights, and engaging in other juvenile delinquency, most of her acting out can be attributed to her own insecurities and emotional issues and a lot of my art of her actually seems to feature themes of sadness and loneliness.

She is in foster care, although I haven't decided on who her foster parents are--I was initially considering big bear lady Orsola as a good foster mother, but later on I also started to like the idea of her being adopted by Dominika and Nico's parents, making her their little foster sister. I also considered her being adopted by the hyena couple Jenaro and Marcellina, making her the fat, nerdy Leoncio's foster sister.
In the past I have mentioned who her real mother is, Alexis Fury (an assassin character from the action hero storylines more than the slice-of-life ones), but left her father ambiguous on purpose, with finding her biological parents being a possible character arc for her.

Another point of insecurity for her is a bit of an issue with incontinence, I typically treat the whole "cartoon animal in diaper" thing as cartoon silliness and/or a subject for mild fetish art, but about a decade ago I decided it might be interesting to explore it as an actual medical issue and something that causes a character a significant amount of anxiety and embarrassment rather than a character wearing a diaper just being a silly and/or kink thing, and one of her greatest fears being to have this little secret about her revealed--and that being something that has happened at least once during her years in high school.
