Meat Quest: Monster Roadrunner
One of the biggest potential issues with the Geoterra Project is, ever since its inception in 2004, all of the mammal species present have been sapient--including traditionally "prey" species like cows, deer, and so on. That leads to some uncomfortable realities about where carnivores get their meat... having your neighbors over for dinner might have an entirely different meaning!
I've thought about possible solutions to this problem for years, while I'm not necessarily opposed to sapient hyenas hunting sapient zebras, I feel like there should be some other, less ethically and morally questionable options available.
This one actually existed in Geoterra canon, although the design hasn't been touched in well over a decade and even back then it was rarely used. I refined the design quite a bit for this updated version, and I'm quite pleased with the result! I get the feeling the coyotes aren't all that thrilled, though...
