Meet Wassa Rydaar.

His business card says "courier, transporter, bounty hunter and personal security services" but his actual services include both those legitimate tasks as well as smuggling, mercenary, hit man and hired gun services, gun-running, and just about any other ethically and legally dubious task you might need a guy with a gun and a spaceship for.

"Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap" as the song goes.

Decided to develop this guy a bit more--I had already had ideas in mind for him, but I'm taking my time with them.

This time, he's wearing his armor and has his blaster at the ready, he's probably currently in a shoot-out with some crime lord's goons, or about to take a target by surprise.

His kit consists of a pretty basic yet effective body armor to protect his torso, additional armor pads for his shoulders, knees and elbows, and his jacket is made from a sort of "armor-weave" material that offers a bit of protection on its own. The heavy boots and rugged pants most spacers wear provide decent protection from common hazards. The armor pads are easily put on or removed, and the body armor can easily be concealed beneath his jacket, meaning that if he wants to pass for a civilian without his armor drawing attention to him it's quite easy for him to do so, or if certain tasks would be easier to perform with less weight, bulk, or armor on.

His pistol is a common yet effective model used by Lightbearer Dominion forces, meaning acquiring power packs and making repairs to it is fairly easy while still providing him with a powerful military-grade sidearm. Not shown is his secondary pistol, a Cygnian Federation pulse blaster he got off some small-time wannabe crime boss during a visit to Hadarra, and as his travels have taken him to Demeter in the past, he acquired a 9mm semi-automatic pistol during his time there as well. He rarely uses that one, though, since finding ammunition for slugthrowers is rather challenging once you leave the planet said slugthrower originates from.
