Here's the latest transport! A juvenile red-tailed hawk, no bigger than a Pomeranian and with only about two inches of flight feathers, found on the ground crawling with maggots. The guy who found it cleaned it off and put crystal violet on its owies and sent it off with me to the Raptor Center in St. Paul, MN. Adorable and grouchy.
