My Digital Loves by Kyna_Inkweaver

Its nights like tonight I wish the world wasn't vast,
All of us spread out to the four corners without care,
See if we weren't, maybe I'd be in your arms at last.
Ah, to dream such a dream, only I would dare.

Our lives are cruel, for I may die without seeing you.
This thought is so harsh, and yet it is true.

Though I should feel so lucky for you I have known,
And that we were born at this time, on this place.
That through these transmissions, our love it was shown,
With these kind words, I now weave with grace.

Yes, truly we're lucky, lucky indeed.
For this is the place we met first,
reached out to another in need.
Now I see we really aren't cursed.

So, this was inspired by Summer Wars, a hell of a good movie. If you haven't seen it, go watch it.
I always end up crying at the end of it, cause it speaks to me on a level of interpersonal connectivity that spans the world.

I never saw summer wars but I can level with this sort of thinking. A lot of the people I really care about live in other parts of the world.
I am truly blessed to have friends all over and have the ability to keep in touch. It makes me very happy.
Your poem is fine. I can't think of anything else to say.
    Cheers!
