Top right is for luun_mauste on Twitter, bottom left is for Airking on FA. And threw in the bases too for fun.

I've been sipping on warm beverages myself since yesterday. My love has been a bit ill for a while. I visited them and couldn't help myself but give them a few kisses, which landed me with a sore throat for the day. Oh, but it's nearly gone now. I heal pretty fast, I don't really get sick. The last time I can recall that I was really the bedridden, stay home, can't do shit type of sick was in elementary when I ate one too many oatmeal creme pies (I would bring one a day for a snack, but once decided to take two then went home early to throw up). I haven't eaten one since. Nor have I thrown up since. Throwing up really scares me a lot and I hope I never do it again for the rest of my life.

They turned out so cute! :D

I know what you mean--I rarely get sick, either. Even when I got COVID-19, it was hardly anything.........sore throat and a bit of coughing one day and I was fine the rest of the time, but the tests showed negative for a week (I was vaccinated, so it helped I'm sure!), so I had to stay home all week. :p I'm the one person at work who has billions of hours of sick time in my bank, because I rarely ever get sick.......

      Thanks~
I've never gotten to work anywhere before. Does anything special happen if you have unused sick leaves?

        You’re welcome! :)

It depends on the place. I work at a Library that belongs to the local city government. A few years ago they placed caps (for new hires) on sick time accrual—but those of us already grandfathered in can keep earning sick leave. When we retire, we can “cash in” a portion our sick time towards retirement benefits (insurance, etc.). But I know my sister—who works for a medical place, they have a use-it-or-lose-it sick/vacation bank that has to be emptied out every year.

I see... Makes sense that different places would do different things.

Yeah. I suppose it depends on money in the end and how a “business” is set up. nods
