Had another swing at @Vellik89's character Fletcher, animated this time.
~8 hr
Eight hours? That small amount of time? That just goes to show you where hard work, dedication, practice, and willpower get you! Brilliant! Well done! Be proud of your art and yourself.
I know this is going to seem like I'm complimenting/schmoozing [Ithink that's the term?] for "reasons" (Choosing Beggar), but this is exceptionally done. If I had a computer and all the stuff to do it, I could... in a month or so. Your work has quality. It's a completely flawless (seems that way to me, at least) loop of emotions. I wish I had the skill of what an artist on here calls average again. I used to be multi-talented, but too long of a story to get into. Don't put yourself down because you believe you're taking too long. Just remember: The man who is patient will walk until he finds a bridge to cross a river. The man who is impatient will swim across and risk many dangers. In other words, dear Kludge, patience. It is better to make sure it is done well than to speed through and both make & miss mistakes.
Just remember to take breaks, eat well, get 8 hours of sleep, and don't think you're "selfish" if you need to take time away for personal reasons, i.e. mental & physical wellbeing/health.
Well thank you, I appreciate it. I think I'm just hoping I can work at a good pace so that I'm not charging lower than I'm working, but it's kinda hard to know with animations. It's been fun though.
I've been taking more breaks nowadays since the weather has gotten hotter and the AC remains being unfixed...
That's not good. The hotter it gets, the more you need to stay cool. It sucks that ACs are really expensive. If I had the money, I'd send you the money to help you out, but I'm poor-ish. I have money but not much of it. I hate not being able to help.
Ah! So it's a case of too many and not enough! That really does suck. I hope you can get a repairperson sooner rather than later. It'd be really cool if that happened. It seems like you've just entered a shop and they say to take a number. You do, it's #378, and they just served #042. Kind of like that, I guess?
