*Aleks knows his name; he knows the entirety of his life, and he knows that his parents had just kicked him out of their house. What he doesn't know is where he is now. Aleks finds himself waking up in the house of a woman he's never met, in a city he's never heard of—far from home or any sort of familiarity or comfort. Everyone in town seems fairly nice though. There isn't anything there that he can complain about.

However, as Aleks tries to make sense of his surroundings, he's plagued with hauntingly familiar hallucinations in this unfamiliar place. Why won't anyone answer his questions? Is something sinister brewing?*

It seems only time will tell.

Restarting this project and doing it the right way.

Jumping right into making B-F in 2016, without any proper preparation (due to my excitement), wasn't the best course of action. I've taken some well-needed advice: mainly the fact that I should be doing a few pages before officially releasing the comic. Working on a page deadline by deadline is not an easy task, which I've definitely learned from my short experience with B-F back then, plus learning from other comic artists.

Charles (the writer of this comic) and I have improved the comic's quality by taking our time to adjust the pacing, vary the expressions, and clean things up here and there. We cracked down on it pretty intensely during this summer, and it's all finally coming together. And we can at last share it with all of you patient people (plus the newcomers).

Updates are every other Monday, starting today. Though, if you have $5 to spare a month, you can get updates early. Right now, pages 1-4 are public, and pages 5-6 are on Patreon.
