A fully rendered piece featuring my OC Galadriel, a wizard-like character I got from a trade about 5 months ago.
So the story behind this artwork is that it originally started out as a request, but I had to cancel it due to the amount of IRL stuff going on at the time. It was really just a rough figure sketch holding a staff. Eventually, I decided to finish it off completely and go with the original idea. I picked Galadriel for this because he fit the pose perfectly. The background was supposed to be a dense forest, but those four trees were alredy getting ridiculous, so I added in some mountains and some buildings. When it came to painting, I decided to do a lineless look, which came out perfectly. Overall, I feel that the layout is a little messy because of the tree arrangement blocking 70% of the background and that Galadriel's tail wasn't ment for this offset possition. But the colors and shading came out perfectly!
About Galadriel: Calm, optimistic and witty. The chillest member of the Diamond Elders. Loves to make puns and do magic tricks. Specializes in illusion based magic. Originally started out as a demon hunter, but after two years he realized he had more potential as a sorcerer. He took some of what he learned from demon hunting and began applying those techniques in sorcery, allowing him to be a standout individual in the sorcery world and secure his place as a Diamond Elder. He’s also well known for taking the already failing Amethyst clan from the brink of collapse to a well organized group.

Tysm!
The whole process was rather fun, but because the canvas size was so large it impacted performance on my iPad.
You're most welcome! :D
I imagine--I don't do a lot of stuff digitally, so I think I tend to work pretty small when I do (usually I stick to around 1000x1000px on average). I never experience a bunch of weirdness like lags or anything, mostly just CLIP doing occasional auto-saves. XD
