Ah, Hasbro and your lack of caring about name trademarks--it literally took Michael Bay's money to get you guys to get "Hot Rod" back. But I made it work in my G1S3EU fan-fics, yes I did. XD

Firebolt--or as the new trademark renaming goes, "Firedrive"--got reintroduced as a Battle Master in my last series arc of Galvatron/Rodimus Prime works. The intention is to have him join Rodimus Prime as a Targetmaster partner, to complete the G1 cartoon original partnership--but his adventures had him severely injured and he has been in medical recovery for the past year. Because of things that happened and the incident with Hala Jurel on one of Talos' moons, Firebolt has been punishing himself by keeping the slave re-naming of "Firedrive"--when he's felt he has truly atoned for what happened, he will allow himself to be called "Firebolt" again.

About the design--I took various cues for this design for Firebolt/Firedrive. And, as a result, he doesn't completely resemble one particular toy release of him or another. I used references from the original G1 Targetmaster, to the version in the [American version] Masterpiece Rodimus Prime and even one of the 3rd party figures that came out. Plus I added a couple of design cues of my own to him, to make him unique.
