This watercolor piece was done with the tube-based watercolor stuff. These are the classic watercolors that all the great artists use when they use watercolors. You need a palette (or something to put them on) and all sorts of fun tools, BUT the good thing about these is the ability to mix colors precisely to get the exact color you want. You can use tube watercolors to create your own pan watercolors as well. If you create a color or colors you like--get yourself a pan and make your own. When these watercolors dry in your pan..........all you need is water to reactivate them, just like pan watercolors! :D

I also used my metallic pan watercolors for the background decor in this piece. :)

I.......um.......tried to do an FiM style MLP and I'm not very good at it. Heck.........the pose is very Twilight Sparkle though, isn't it? lol I guess that's about as close to an FiM style as I can get is virtually-nearly stealing a pose.............and I really didn't realize that until right now as I posted it--that it's a super-common FiM character pose. XD
