Just another look at the Butternut Squash Lasagna recipe that I made the other night while it was still in the pyrex pan.
God that cheese and squash look divine ...I ate the last of the left overs today...may have to make it again soon...

Seeing as how pumpkins and butternuts are in the same family, gourds and all, i can understand that. Suppoedly what we in america call cantalopes are called rock melons there or somewhere else?
But yeah, the one i used was the pinkish tan oblong looking gourd butternut =p

Every time I read buternut-squash it takes me a moment to figure out what vegetable you're talking about, I have to translate it into Australian because a butternut sqash to you is a type of pumpkin to me. And I love the look of this dish. *hugs*
