Every time I read buternut-squash it takes me a moment to figure out what vegetable you're talking about, I have to translate it into Australian because a butternut sqash to you is a type of pumpkin to me. And I love the look of this dish. *hugs*
Seeing as how pumpkins and butternuts are in the same family, gourds and all, i can understand that. Suppoedly what we in america call cantalopes are called rock melons there or somewhere else?
But yeah, the one i used was the pinkish tan oblong looking gourd butternut =p
