Unlike her cousin Harriet, Demi Stheno doesn't have to put quite so much effort into getting ready to go out. A large pair of sunglasses, a large shawl and/or a good hoodie aren't much more than the Gorgon needs for when she goes out into town... The one problem she faces, though, is keeping the nest of serpents growing from her scalp in line. It can be difficult to keep all those snakes still and relaxed while trying to focus on getting things done, and every now and then, she gets an "escapee."

If she's lucky, it's not in public, or happens so briefly that no one notices. If not, she plays it off as being an eccentric artist who likes to keep her "pet" close... Of course, she'll never let any humans near enough to realize just how close that is.

Art by the wonderful , while Demi is one of my characters. This is a very lovely piece, and I think Omina did a wonderful job. Got to say, though, I think that little snake steals the show. I am absolutely, positively terrified of snakes, but goddamn if that thing isn't adorable. Look at it! ...Oh, and hello to Demi's cleavage. You're looking well.
