Commentary:
Now we're back to Elek and Margrethe. Surprise! Lopu happens to know one of them. I think that's the first time I've ever shown Lopu wag his tail before. I might've avoided it due to his tail being bent out of shape, literally.

And now I've explained in-universe how Margrethe can communicate with people w/o knowing sign language. Well sort of. As Elek pointed out, she can't "read lips" on any bird Fugaian. Since they have beaks, they can't really change their mouth shape. They speak with a syrinx in their throat instead of a larynx.
