Art marker and brush pen, 2014

My half of an art trade in which I was invited to draw any of these people; I was immediately smitten with Ologold the Bard's mother and aunts, and the person I was drawing for encouraged my incredibly strange idea of dressing them as the Magus Sisters from Final Fantasy IV (or FF2, if you're a dinosaur like I am). Trying to find a happy medium between Yoshitaka Amano's original design, the pixel/polygon interpretations of said, and something that actually looks like clothing for a person is a challenge, believe you me.

This was done on a brand new pad of paper with a brand new pen, and I think I’ve taken a shine to both. Hopefully the poor pen can keep up with my ridiculous demands re: inks.
