Another November, another novel.
Eight years, seven novels, none revised.
In all of this I've had to ask: Why am I doing this?
Do I want to become an author?
Each year, I say, not now. Maybe later.
And to do that, I need, and want, to keep writing.
No matter what, I always find it a healthy exercise in creativity and storytelling.

As far as three-act, beginning-middle-end structure, I feel like this one went fairly well. Not quite as planned, but then, I didn't plan very much beyond "Aliens abduct furries."
Flocky is the furry website and host of the national con (FurFlock) that starts the story.
The aptans are the first to develop feasible intergalactic travel, and it's not with FTL. They serve as the host race and planet for any species they can communicate with. This includes the sligs, the humans, and the nalvots.
I wrote an ending that I didn't see coming. It was sad, but satisfying. It felt like the only way to end it.

Wasp/Inquiline has an interesting story behind him. I'll post more about it soon.
