They told me in my past life, I was free.
I was born in the wild, my mind was part of the wild.
My soul was the breeze.
My heart beat with the rhythm of the earth.
When I would cry rivers would over flow.
When I was happy the land was beautiful.
At times, when I was cold I would be covered in a snow white blanket.
The mountain sides cradled me, keeping me safe.
There was not one spot on my mountain I did not walk.
There was not a single spirit I could not call by name.
I moved for nature, only standing to protect her.
That was my down fall, they came too fast.
Taking away her life, along with mine.
I awoke in a new body, one of those that hurt nature.
Trapped in this body, not being able to reconnect with nature.
Alone, away from what I once had.
My life was stolen too soon, the one I have now, was forced upon me.
I still stand for nature, in hope, one day, I will feel her love once again.
My soul cries for freedom, my tears fall for her.
