Here's another page of my characters in Don Bluth style! Peter, Raymond, Pepper and Chuck were easy to draw since Bluth has no shortage of cat and dog characters to reference in his films. But what do you do with leopards, a red panda, and a fox? I did find a fat fox from Rock a Doodle to reference for the homeless fox, but that didn't help much since the homeless fox is scrawny rather than fat. For James, I just took my best guess what a red panda might look like in Bluth's style. For Lyle and Lyla, I referenced King Richard from Robin Hood, removed his mane and took my best guess at what a Don Bluth leopard would look like. Oh I guess I could have referenced Robin Hood himself for the homeless fox, but I didn't want my fox to have the same good looks as Robin. I was referencing both Bluth's own movies and Disney movies he worked on, though I'm kinda bending my rules since according to Wiki, Bluth did not actually animate King Richard. Eh, it's close enough since it's the time period he was at Disney.
