This is a project I've been working on since April, drawing each of my characters in Don Bluth style. For some species like cats and dogs, I could just reference characters like Warren T Cat, Charlie Barkin and so on. But for species that haven't appeared in any Bluth movies like guinea pigs, I had to take my best guess and look at similar characters like the rodents from Secret of NIHM and Fievel from An American Tale. I lucked out for Basil since the movie Anastasia had an unused ferret character with a model sheet that I could reference. Will I ever color these? I don't know yet.
