Season 4 Game of the Week #8: Guardians @ Killer Bees by FHL

Season 4 Game of the Week #8: Guardians @ Killer Bees

FHL

Tonight's Game of the Week Matchup is a well looked for battle between what can safely be said were not only the Titans of the Pacific Division, but what easily is the Western Conference, each which held the top spot in the Pacific Division for half the season. Seattle started the year out of the gate strong, with shutout performances by both goalies Fisher and R-Ryian, and stringing together what became the league leading 12 game winning streak, it looked like Seattle was going to make somewhat unexpected run at the Pacific and Western Conference Title with Salt Lake City struggiling early.

By Mid-Season however, the Killer Bees entered into their stride, taking over the Pacific Division lead from the Guardians with Raz Yoshi completing spectacular shutout after shutout, totaling up what is currently 8 shutouts total along the ride. Having clinched the Commissioner's Cup for having the best record in the league for the year, and with the start of the Cup a week and a half away, there is one small goal the Bees look to in this game. With the win Monday night in Bakersfield, the Bees have matched the Guardians season long winning streak, and with a win tonight, the Bees would surpass it, putting their streak at 13.

Will the Bees win tonight and do so, or will the Guardians spoil their chances and get the last win of the year agianst their rivals?

SUMMARY: http://bit.ly/S4GOTW8-2

For the Killer Bees, it seems the change in streak lead was to be done with an exclamation point! Frosty Orca opened the scoring in the first, and Bluefire stacked onto the lead as the period closed, putting the Killer Bees up 2-0 at the end of the first. Far from done, the swanky cat scored agian in the second to put the Bees up three to zip. Tempered flaired after the score, as Crocs Richard Dempsey and gators Richard Dempsey and Gator Rex came to blows. After the anger settled, both players were sent to thier perspective boxes and play continued. In the third the Bees' piled it on with a second goal by Frosty Orca, and a goal by Brute Belonzyk as Salt Lake City won 5-0, with a spectacular preformance in net by Raz Yoshi,

With the win, Salt Lake City becomes the team with the longest winning streak this season, and will have a chance to extend it to 14 with the final game of the season in Bakersfield.
