Welcome all to this year Furry Hockey League Furry Cup, pitting the Oak Conference champions and Commissioner's Cup holders the Salt Lake City Killer Bees, agianst the Cup's defending champion and Maple Conference champions, the Thunder Bay Puffins!

Thunder Bay opened the scoring in the first, with a late period goal by Wingdog one timed off of a sharp pass by Pyry Cole. The Puffins would then extend the lead in the second from a sharp shot by Liam Cowin Good, and would hold the lead into the end of the period 2 to nothing. As the began, the lead evaporated, as the Killer Bees began to surge, applying agreesive pressure to Pehltonen, and in the process, turning the tables on the Puffins, answering back with goals by Swiftfoot, IkaIka, Orca, and Bluefire, as they would ride their way to a powerful third period comeback of the score 4 to 2, and take game 1 of the series.
