Hi!!

I’ve known furries since March 2009, and “became” a true fur (by my definition) June 2011 when I started developing Excelsior fursona. I had been dreaming of the human / lion hybridization since as far back as I can remember with the big event being when I was 20 back in 1980 (yes, I’m that old). His name was a cliche LionMan. I was told to make up a new name for the character so I came up with Excelsior!

I dearly love fandom, culture, and especially concept that is a perfect fit for me. Discovering the furry culture improved my life tremendously. For a while I was getting out and going to meets and meeting all sorts of neat friendly furries! And had a great time. I made 2 fursuits and went fursuiting as often as I can with the help of some furry friends.

I attended FC2012 as my first convention and loved it. But that also signaled the last time I could get out and fursuit on a regular basis due to lack of funds.

I'll be taking fursuit commissions though I'm just starting out. See my Dagnabbit Rabbit for what I can do (or better in time). I have significant depression so the work could be sluggish but still I strive for quality.

I’m somewhat “trapped” at home from the poverty as well as being too far away from furry meets plus I have the limitations of my disabilities too. I’m unemployed but am trying now that I finally got new hearing aids (which only help a little). I need to get back out in the world and wish I could have some local friends too but I don’t have the money to go visit them or do things with, etc.

I live in Antioch Calif. in Eastern Contra Costa County 45 miles East of San Francisco.

I am severely hard of hearing (have special hearing aids but sensitive to moisture) and forced to have a handler with me if I were to fursuit. I don't have a local handler or local friends either. Nor the money to get around.

Samurai Dragon - an unusual black fur type dragon.
Gobi Bear - a bear suit based on Gobi bears which are an actual species of desert dwelling bears. With the joke: I'm Gobi Bear! Not Yogi Bear!! :3

Well, it's been a while since FA was hacked and had to reset. All attempts at access failed so their loss, Weasyl's gain!

I wasn't using it too much anyway. Waste most of my time on Facebook!

I'm getting down to the wire on my being able to stay in my mobile home in the park due to lack of good income. Can't take commissions as I need to spend nearly 100% of my time trying to go to college and / or get a job. Or a roommate for the spare bedroom.
