Forest Theme/Love Exchange (Original Composition)

Sixth and seventh parts of the Yellowknife song cycle! The sixth song, admittedly, is a recycling of a previous melody I was working on, but I figured the happiness and carefree nature of the song was just too relevant for what I wanted to capture in the incidental music. The seventh is the main character discovering love. I'm thinking his interest should be Mr. Carpenter's daughter. We'll see how it pans out in future songs.

Thanks for listening, guys and gals. :)

LYRICS:
I walked myself through a virgin forest fair
To find a solemn place to rest my mind
As I glanced above the brown and lofty trees
I see her dancing through the wild as free as my dreams

What adverse cost do I incur when I find love?

Dear lady, you colorfully glowed on a naturally windy day
Are you responsible for placating my stormy heart?
She may be youthful but she certainly wants to know
If she could be guided to united consciousness

What looming trouble must I see if I do this so tenderly?

I guess I’ll know in due time
When my reason dances with my rhyme.

What trouble must I encounter in giving love another chance?

I guess I’ll know in due time
When my reason dances with my rhyme.
