HAPPY NEW YEAR, my subjects!

Sorry for being so late on this. I have the post-Christmas doldrums pretty bad -_- . I meant to post it New Years Eve at midnight but I was so bummed that the season was already over that I ended up going to bed at like 10 pm. The Holidays are just over so fast. You get all psyched up for it and then its over, and there's nothing to look forward-to for a long time. Like seriously, what's there to look forward-to, the Superbowl? SNORE. The world seems a little bit bleaker as the lights and trees all start coming down.

I think it was worse for me this year than previous years. Despite being The Christmas Fennec (tm), I've found it increasingly difficult to get into [i]the spirit[/i] these past few years. Heck, its pretty-much a straight downhill slide since you're a kid, isn't it? But this year I made a special effort to get into the Christmas mood, and I succeeded! I really got into it maybe with a week or so before the Big Day. And it was wonderful. But afterward, I came down hard. I wonder if its like getting drunk. The higher you get on Christmas Cheer, the rougher it is when the Holidays are over? Let me know what you think!
