No, this isn't micro/macro/whatever. This was an assignment at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in drawing101, well, the final project for that class.
Essentially we had to do something based on "imagination", so I put the characters I create in my hand, since that's what actually creates them. The rules were:
1.) The hand drawn had to be our own hand, not a stock or internet photo.
2.) The hand had to be holding something (tangible or not)
3.) 70% of the hand had to be visible
4.) The boarder must be broken in at least two areas.
Had a great professor for that drawing class.
Photoshop shall happen to this, although there will be some anatomy/hairstyle/face changes, since this is aged by more than a year.
17x14" in size. Currently framed and on display at my mother's insurance office, much to my dismay.
