Finally, a recent picture! And this one's a birth-day picture, too!

Johnny is a smart boy, and his favorite subjects are math and science. He also has a great sense of humor. His favorite animals are camels and turtles. After getting to meet him a couple of times (his family lives in Florida, so they've only come by twice so far), I realized that when it comes to gift art, he probably wouldn't mind something simple. So, for his picture, I drew a camel/turtle hybrid, proudly strutting through the sand and sun of xer desert home, exemplifying the message that you should be proud of who you are, no matter how weird, quirky or just plain different you may be!

(Fun Fact: For genderless/a-gender characters, I use a variation of the "xe/xim" pronouns, saving "they/them" for multi-gendered characters. Don't worry, I still respect the pronouns of actual people, so if you want to be called "they/them", I will, and I won't call you "xe/xim".)
