I'm a big fan of classic comedy! During 2013, when I was not thinking about what to do with my art, I often lazed around and watched T.V. while doodling random things. We didn't have cable T.V., so we only got a few free channels...and two of them were Antenna T.V. and MeTV, two channels that specializing in rerunning classic T.V. shows.

Antenna T.V. focuses a little more on comedies, while MeTV has a little bit of everything--usually cult classics. Through both, I was introduced to many classic comedies (I stuck to those because I mostly prefer light-hearted stuff), and loved most of them. One of those was The Patty Duke show. While I wouldn't say it was my favorite of the ones I watched, I did like it...and enough to spawn this neat and cute fan-art, which was also an aesthetic experiment. The Cathy kitty was done completely in pencil, while the Patty kitty was done completely in marker, and they're both wearing similar outfits, but each one is tweaked to accomodate the wearer's personalities. I'm proud of how this one turned out.
