I don't know how many countries celebrate it, but today is Groundhog Day in the United States. Today, a groundhog will decide how much longer winter will last. If the groundhog sees its shadow, it will get scared and flee back into its hole, delaying winter. Or so the legend goes.

So, in case you can't tell, that's me, turned into a groundhog-dragon. Um... Dragondhog? ...Groundhogron? I dunno, but it looks like I'm about to find out why groundhogs are afraid of their shadows.

With this picture, I finally found the joy of using layers to color. Made coloring a lot easier, though I can't say it made it quicker. But maybe I just needed more practice. Well, I didn't get any. By this point, I was really tired of drawing. These past couple images were only made for the sake of trying to get myself into arting, again. But, this wound up being the last picture I drew for over half a year.

I really like Groundhog Day, for some reason. Maybe it's 'cause it's pretty much the only animal national holiday. Could also be due to how the church I belong to celebrates it every year. Good food during the event.
