You mean more than one thing!? You flatter me. I'm so glad to hear you like it that much! <3 That means a lot to me. Thank you!

Love the shading............and the sense of action-movement from the blur effect you used! :)

The blur was actually a remnant moving from Alchemy -> Photoshop. I had done a motion blur to quickly smooth the background, and forgot to mask out the tail. I hadn't noticed until about an hour in, but sort of liked the effect. In the last few minutes of working, I decided to see how it'd look pulled down into the pants and lightly onto the lower torso. I think that really helped tie it together.

I think you know what I'm going to say next by now. Hah! Thank you so much. I appreciate it every time. <3

        You're welcome, of course! :)

The effect really turned out well for this piece, even if it began as an unexpected change from one format to another...glad you made it work so well in the picture! :)

The contrast on this gives it a real 3D look to it. Totally envious of your skills.

"Suckin' at somethin's the first step to bein' sorta good at somethin'." Long as you don't give up, I've got confidence you could do even better than I am! I believe~

Thank you very much! Contrast, shading, and value were on my mind heavily during this. I always worry I'm being a bit extreme with it all, so I have to gently remind myself to reign it in. I'm getting there. Slowly but surely!

      Thanks again. <3

That is my favorite line from AdventureTime. Yeah, after years of looking at other people's work and being discouraged that my skills don't measure up, I've gotten to the point of looking at it as something to work towards.
Thanks for being awesome. Going to watch you, now.

I have not seen much Adventure Time, but that line sure stuck with me hard. Landed in my lap at a time I really needed to hear that. I think of it every day, if I can.

I think that's a fair way to approach art, too. It's only fair to compare yourself to them if you're in a heated job offer. Otherwise, seeing someone better than you should be motivation. What they're doing, you can do -- you just gotta figure out the how, and then put in the time to get those skills building. I forget that sometimes. It can be a hard mindset to move to, especially as you get older. At least, in my experience.

And awww, you're too kind! I'll do what I can to keep my gallery entertaining and worthwhile for you. I appreciate that. <3

My references did half the work for me, I must admit. Thank you! <3
