A commission for blackcatsback (of FA) of his pirate character, Rachen. Every good captain needs a strong portrait of them out at sea, and Rachen is no exception!

The first of the paintings to come from AC. This one taught me a lot about color, with help from Stigmata in how to approach it, which included a bit of a restart/return to grayscale at one point. I have a bit better method of getting it down though, that I will try to continue to use moving forward! Should help make paintings even stronger, so my time is spent on more detail and more color play like I did here, instead of "How did I do that again...?"! Means a faster turn around for everyone!
