Painting done off of a master study done of Remigius van Haanen's work, using lighting and color palette as inspiration/guidance. My favorite of the Egyptian Gods! :D
I really like the fluffiness around the ears! :)

My one regret on that fluffiness is I think it's flattens that area just a tiiiiiny bit. I would need to do more fur studies to fix that, but I feel like I managed it alright for my current knowledge and the few references of African Wolves I had.
And I'm a sucker for an Anubis. Such a good design. Thanks, Egyptians!
