Ahh, the Blackberry. A very popular phone with many, many models, being released in such a slew to ensure your wallets are drained with your desire to obtain the latest version.

The model names have always been strange - Pearl, Storm, Bold, Curve, Tour - but what takes the cake is the brand-new Blackberry Torch. Fortunately, I can assist Blackberry users in upgrading to this new model with absolutely no extra cost to them!

(Well, they might want to purchase a pair of fire-resistant gloves, just in case.)

This is something I drew up after being constantly assaulted by internet video ads for the Blackberry Torch, described in elitist detail by some guy who sounds like he deserves a punch in the teeth.

I miss the day when a phone was touted for...you know...being able to be a good phone. Now it's all applications and internet and txting and IMs and...nobody ever cares about how well it calls people anymore. The ads, quite seriously, never even address this point. As far as I'm concerned, all I want a phone to do is call people and maybe send a text when a call cannot be made. All those other things are better reserved for a straight-up PDA.

Eh, call me old-fashioned. :P

At least the Blackberry models set themselves very much up for a joke. >:3 I drew this up last night myself. I realize I used the unholy practice of copy+pasting some frames, but...god, it's just a comic, not a dedicated work of art. xD
