A friend gave me some images to work with, and it clicked on a lot of levels, and was a surprisingly introspective thing to paint, for a simple little piece. It was a very therapeutic, almost cleansing piece, and it's more bug practice.

I'm heading to NYC in a month or so to do a shoot at the natural history museum so I can paint more moths and butterflies. I'm kicking around whipping up a quick kickstarter, for paintings, sketches, and probably a bucket of stock photos.
