Moogie was a pony who had grown up in a Stable embedded in the mountains across from Canterlot. Good thing too, seeing that Canterlot's ultimate demise is absolutely unlivable unless you're a Canterlot ghoul. Her Stable, 72, was designed to connect to an underground Apple Orchard that connected to Stable 71. The only thing was, the Orchard had to be shared, and with Equestria's worst enemy.

The Zebra's of 71 had lower living conditions, but still held half of the combined Stable's Orchard. As the conditions worsened over the years, the Zebra's began to turn hostile, especially when their Water Talisman broke. Some of the ponies in Stable 72 agreed with the Zebra's saying that they should combine forces, especially by now since the war was long over, and the Zebra's in Stable 71 were still loyal Equestrian Citizens. However, the elder ponies and the Overmare of Stable 72 disagreed strongly with the idea, leaving certain ponies (like Moogie) with a desperate choice. Continue to follow the Overmare's directives, or go against Tradition for hopes of a better future?

Moogie, being a part time Security Mare as well as an Orchard maintenance farmer, was one of those left with that difficulty. Being unable to decide however, between her neutral view on the Zebra's and her lack of value for Equestrian "Traditions", ultimately ignited the revolt, and caught her in the crossfire. Moogie was able to escape the chaos with a few packed saddle bags of food and the maintenance barding on her hide, only to escape to the side of the mountain...and what happened after long years of Taint and Radiation had done to the land around it.

After some minor mountain set backs (such as getting down from the mountain) were taken care of, as well as a few run ins with the hungry locals (Ponies are not food, I'M TALKIN TO YOU RAIDERS!), she had almost bitten the bullet when she had a barrel of a gun shoved right into her mouth by the large winged Pegasus Oggy Lovely. Something seemed to stop her though, at least enough to finally remove the gun and to send Moogie running.

When Oggy finally caught up (because Moogie had to sleep some time), she tinkered and played with her Pipbuck while she slept, and had reinforced it with a stronger, thinner metal she had found on one of her teddy bears (don't ask).

When Moogie woke up, and after a few more chase scenes, she finally figured that since Oggy wasn't shooting her anymore, that it was a good thing and to leave it at that. Now having a companion to help fend off the wastes while Moogie tries to find her place in the god awful hell that is the Equestrian Wasteland.

And far the buck away from Canterlot. And the Hoof...
